The auction’s founder, Algirdas Petraitis, is the son of the well-known collector Gediminas Petraitis. He was the founder of the first antique shop in Lithuania and passed on to his son a love of art, respect for the authenticity of each work, and the understanding that every artwork or historical object can discover a new life. These values instilled by Gediminas Petraitis became the foundation of Algirdas Petraitis’s vision: art should unite, inspire, and be accessible to everyone who holds it dear.
