All auction sales organised by Ars Via take place at Anastazija and Antano Tamošaičiai Gallery ŽIDINYS.All collections of the ARS VIA Auction have printed catalogues which online versions are available under CATALOGUE .Auctioned exhibits are available for viewing at the exhibition held two days before the auction sale at Dominikonų str. 15, Vilnius.
Bidding at the ARS VIA Auction
Methods of bidding at the Auction:
Bidding in person
You may bid personally or through an agent or representative. You must register in advance by filling out the bidder’s registration form at least 30 minutes before the auction opening.
If you cannot be present at an auction to bid in person, you may submit an advance bid for the chosen lot. In this case, biddings for the lot you have chosen will be done on your behalf by the auction clerk up to the limit you have set. Absentee bids (advance written bids) are placed by filling out the registration form which must be submitted at least one day before the auction opening.
Bidding by telephone
During the auction, when the lot you are interested in is coming up, the ARS VIA staff member will telephone you to provide information on the lot you are interested in and bid on your behalf. Applications to bid by telephone must be submitted at least one day before the auction opening. Bidding by telephone is only allowed in respect of lots which starting price is EUR 500 and more.
ARS VIA aukcionas offers a ‘live’ online bidding option. Register online by visiting www.liveauctioneers.com. The buyer’s premium for online bidding is 23 %.
The bidder must pay for purchased lots within 10 days after the auction in accordance with the issued invoice. ARS VIA auctioneer’s margin of 18 % will be added to the price payable by the bidder. The bidder can pay for artworks purchased at the auction by a bank transfer, credit card or in cash.
